I’m an avid sports fan, bookworm, and outdoor adventure seeker on a continuous quest to find the most beautiful (and warmest) beach on earth. On my happiest days you’ll find me creating, writing, reading, and learning. On some beach, somewhere. I’m glad we’ve connected. 

About Patricia

Patricia Hubbard, MA, PN1, holds a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology and a Nutrition certification from Precision Nutrition. As a former athlete and huge sports fan (go Yankees!), she got into the Sport Psychology field with the dream of working with professional athletes to optimize their mindset for performance. Through college and graduate school, Patricia was a coach and mental performance consultant for youth female athletes, helping them to develop the physical and mental skills necessary to succeed in sport and life. 

 

Although passionate about sports and the mind, Patricia has always been fascinated with health and nutrition as well. Throughout her schooling, she took several nutrition courses, but always saw this field as a hobby rather than a career path. She utilized her education to improve her own diet practices and overall health, but nothing more.

 

That is, until she was accidentally introduced to behavior change psychology through several elective courses in graduate school. These courses gave her insight of how she could bridge her two passions, psychology and nutrition, to help people create lasting change to reach optimal health. Upon completing her Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology, she completed her nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition so she could provide clients with the entire package they needed to make lasting lifestyle and diet changes to become their healthiest selves. 

 

HUBBS stands for Holistic Understanding of Building your Best Self, because that’s what Patricia is all about. Instead of prescribing meal plans, calorie targets, or short-term diet strategies, Patricia looks at the client as a whole to help them create lasting lifestyle change through diet, nutrition, and mindset habits. Patricia is driven by helping those she works with to transform their health, and unlock their potential.
